Besides this, there are other reasons for this neglect, such as the attempt to hide the escalating pace of the african jihad umder the umbrella of the khillafah, and to cover up the failure of the "major states" to confront it after they were forced to focus on it, being more interested in other arenas. Meanwhile, the soldiers of the isla mic st ate continue their lofty jihad towards their highest goal: the supremacy of the shariah and its people. The crusaders forces fighting the khilafah soldiers in the congo not only failed to protect the christians, but they also became exposed to great exhaustion on the military, economic, and psychological levels, especially with the hit-and-run war in the expansive forests, which constantly drain even the strongest regular armies in weopons and capabilities. Therefore, the crusader congolese forces had no choice but to seek the help of of foreign forces that were more traimed
